Case study

In-house: a WhatsApp chat widget live on the Shopify App Store

Our own published Shopify app: a floating WhatsApp/Telegram chat widget with configurable business hours and dynamic pre-filled messages that carry the product page the customer is viewing.

The problem

Store visitors with a question don't fill contact forms — they leave. The stores that convert them are the ones that make asking effortless and answer with context.

What we built

A production Shopify app: customisable chat bubble, business-hours logic, and pre-filled messages carrying product-page context — so every conversation starts with the agent (or human) already knowing what the customer is looking at. It's the front door our WhatsApp booking and support agents plug into.

Results

  • Live on Shopify stores as a published app
  • Every inbound chat arrives with product context attached — no 'which item do you mean?' round-trips
  • Proves the exact WhatsApp entry-point pattern we deploy for client agents
